Happy Halloween to you all! I hope you have an amazing day planned. Our Halloweens have been fantastic since moving to Boston. Our ornately decorated neighborhood shuts down all streets to cars and kids within our neighborhood, and those who have traveled to enjoy our special Halloween experience, go door to door while enjoying a pretty amazing block party. Everyone really goes all out to ensure the kids have a memorable trick-or-treating experience. Neighbors even put out wine and spiked cider for the adults.
Brian and I take Bennett trick-or-treating early then Brian usually enjoys a beer or two on the porch with our neighbor while handing out Halloween candy and I give Bennett his bath and get him ready for bed. Then I curl up on the couch with some of Bennett's newly gathered Halloween candy and watch Hocus Pocus. I seriously can't wait for tonight!
These pictures were taken during an afternoon walk in Cambridge after I got off work. We've been trying to take full advantage of this gorgeous fall weather we've been having here in the northeast. The dress I'm wearing is from Ann Taylor. I love the fall tones of this dress and its amazing neckline. I wear this dress to work but it also is a great dress for a date night. On this day I paired the dress with my favorite over-the-knee boots but I also love wearing it with pointy-toe flats and comfortable pumps.
I hope you all have the most amazing Halloween! I can't wait to see all of your pictures. You can shop my look from this post below.
